When I was a little girl, my dad built custom homes in the piney woods of East Texas. I loved going to work with him and watching a house emerge from dirt, slab, and studs. I would wander through the rooms as the interior was finished out and I pretend I was going to live there. I had a passion for houses even then.

When I was in high school and college, I worked for my dad’s construction company in Dallas. I learned how to work with architects and contractors, helping manage projects from conception to the delivery of keys. I’m always amazed at how the addition of a structure can completely change a landscape and become a lasting part of a community.

The reality is that those structures don’t always hold up. I partnered with my dad to flip a residence that had been nearly destroyed by fire and neglect. It was such a sense of accomplishment to rebuild it and give it a face lift. We sold that home to a grandmother who moved to Texas to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

I loved that we played a small part in their story.

Selling that house made me want to become a realtor. Once I earned my license, I also started helping investors build their portfolios. Real Estate is such a fascinating industry. That’s why there are whole television networks and thousands of social media accounts dedicated to it.

Whether you are selling your home and moving on to better things, buying a home for the first time, or making an investment, I would be honored to be a part of your real estate team journey.
